ABOUT THE EVENT

This exhibition brings together two artists, in photography and painting, around the body as a space of ritual and memory.


Through gestures, postures and tensions, the body becomes the site of an inhabited presence, traversed by heritage and the sacred.

The mask, far from being a mere cultural object, comes alive through contact with the body. It extends the being, reveals an invisible memory, and transforms the figure into a mediator between flesh and spirit.


The encounter between painting and photography captures that fragile moment when ritual takes shape. The body does not represent, it embodies. Between past and present, human and ancestral, the exhibition reveals what remains unspoken.
