Summer 2026
During the summer of 2026, Éclats Art Contemporain offers a unique artistic dissemination experience. Rather than a series of independent exhibitions, the gallery becomes a living space in continuous transformation where artists, works and visitors meet in rhythm with the season, in the form of summer artistic dissemination residencies.
The Éclats summer encounters bring together guest artists who gradually occupy the space, creating an evolving collective exhibition whose composition is renewed week after week.
The artworks gradually unfold within the gallery space, creating a constantly evolving exhibition. Some artists arrive, others continue their presence, while new works transform the visitor's experience.
Rather than a succession of separate exhibitions, Éclats d'été offers a collective experience where practices meet and coexist.
Each artist is invited to mobilize their own network, while the gallery ensures ongoing promotion of the program. Visitors are thus encouraged to return regularly to discover the transformations of the space and the new artistic presence.

Summer Residency Program
Éclats Art Contemporain presents the public with a coherent program rather than a simple succession of exhibitions. This would also allow for the creation of a recurring event year after year.
Participation is by invitation only to ensure the quality, diversity, and coherence of the program. Each artist is chosen for the uniqueness of their approach and their ability to enrich the dialogue with other participants.
The Éclats space transforms into a living space that evolves throughout the summer. Artists come and go gradually, some staying for a few weeks, others for a few days, thus creating a constant renewal of the space.

An ephemeral artistic community
The Éclats Summer Encounters foster connections between artists from different disciplines, generations, and backgrounds. Residents temporarily share the same exhibition space, creating opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and mutual discovery.
This approach transforms the gallery into a meeting place where the works engage in dialogue with each other and where the public can witness the constant evolution of the project.
A vision for the future
The Éclats Summer Encounters is an annual event in the Montreal's cultural season, a space where artists, collectors, art lovers and curious people come together in a free, friendly and constantly evolving context.
