Olivier Bonnet

Returning to Montreal after a long stay in the Outaouais region, Olivier has been drawing since childhood. His journey has led him to live in Europe, Asia, and Africa, where he encountered diverse artistic environments that nourished his sensitivity and enriched his visual language. His artistic exploration has unfolded through darkroom photography, illustration, cartooning, Chinese calligraphy, and community theater. For over twenty years, he published satirical drawings in an international magazine of Médecins Sans Frontières, a humanitarian organization with which he was closely associated.

Back in the city, Olivier is fully involved in the local art scene, particularly through his practice of visual arts. A professional artist recognized by the Canada Council for the Arts and a member of the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec (RAAV), he continues his work at the Centre d'art de Montréal, in the Griffintown neighborhood. He has several solo and group exhibitions in Montreal to his credit.
