Body and Matter Collection

Photographer Claude Gauthier presents a photographic series in which the body becomes a territory of transformation, a medium for textures, superpositions, and shadow effects that push the boundaries of the medium. His works not only capture the human appearance, but also give it a sculptural, almost mineral dimension, where the skin seems to merge with the material. This visual treatment blurs the boundaries and invites reflection on identity, temporality, and memory.
