Michel Grenier, Artistic Approach

Portrait_jpg_1070.jpg

An experienced photographer and videographer, Michel Grenier became interested in the possibilities offered by aerial photography very early on. From 2008 to 2010, he sensed the creative potential of this new visual approach: raising a camera just a few meters is enough to radically transform the perception of shapes and spaces.

In 2017, he evaluated the various technological options available and acquired his first drone, the Phantom 3 Pro. From that first flight, the revelation was immediate: photography had just entered a new dimension. Since then, Michel has gradually expanded his aerial arsenal with an impressive range of DJI devices, including the Phantom 4 Advanced, Mavic 2 Pro, Inspire 1, Mavic 3 Pro, and Mini 3 Pro, perfecting his mastery of aerial photography and enriching his visual universe.

This constant exploration has allowed him to distinguish himself as a recognized specialist in drone photography, particularly in the artistic, real estate, and video fields. Holder of an official drone pilot license issued by NAV Canada, Michel combines technical rigor and aesthetic sensitivity to capture compositions of great geometric precision and astonishing formal beauty.

In October 2025, Galerie Éclats 521 in Montreal invited him to present a selection of his best works. According to curator Claude Gauthier, "these photographs reveal the expressive power of vertical shooting and the pictorial dimension that aerial photography can achieve."
