A line, before being a form, is the story of a gesture. Sonia Roseval draws freehand, in India ink on archival paper, without a preliminary plan: hours of patient repetition layer patterns and rhythms upon one another, until the invisible threads that connect beings, time, and space become visible. Won Ch. Kimetarx, a Korean-born artist and writer trained in architecture, develops a space for thought where the constructed element sheds its function to become a narrative, an architecture of paper that never had to be built to exist.
