ABOUT THE EVENT

Galerie ÉCLATS 521 is pleased to present the opening of Ground Displacement, an exhibition by artist Alexandre Fortes, created in collaboration with the Latin Groove dance studio. This project offers a dialogue between photography, movement, and the human condition, inviting the public to reflect on notions of territory, memory, and belonging.


The event will be held under the honorary presidency of Flavia Nascimento, a Brazilian-born singer recognized for her artistic and community engagement, and Mitsue Siqueira, Director of the Maison de la culture du Brésil au Canada, two figures who embody the richness of the cultural dialogue between Brazil and Quebec.


The opening will take place simultaneously across the spaces of the Latin Groove studio, where Alexandre Fortes’s photographic works will be displayed in an immersive atmosphere, and at Galerie ÉCLATS 521, located just across the hall.
