ABOUT THE EVENT
The ÉCLATS 521 gallery is pleased to invite you to its very first opening, an inaugural evening marking the opening of this space dedicated to current practices in contemporary art in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles.
For this first exhibition, Claude Gauthier takes over the space with Body and Matter – The Embrace of the Timeless, a photographic series that questions the memory of the body and the persistence of gesture. Through an intimate dialogue between texture, light and suspended movement, the artist invites us to cross the thresholds of the visible.
This event is an opportunity to discover a new venue for artistic dissemination in Montreal, but also to meet the artist, the members of the founding team, and the artistic community united around this first proposal.
A cocktail will be offered.
